The Altoids survival kit.
It’s a popular item among preppers, buschrafters, survivalists, etc and for good reason. It’s a compact, handy way of carrying some essential survival items that can make a major difference in an emergency situation.
For me, I work a regular office job so it’s not realistic to carry around a large survival kit or extensive EDC items. An altoids tin on the other hand will easily fit in a back pocket or a work bag and will be almost entirely invisible. When I’m out in the woods it fits perfectly in my front left pocket. I like keeping it there as it means if I ever get caught away from camp I’ll always have some essential survival items on my person.
So let’s get to it. Here are the items I keep in my Altoids Survival Kit:
Ranger Bands (Bicycle Inner Tube)
Aquatabs Water Purification Tablets
Ferrocerium Rod & Striker
Heavy Duty Freezer Bag
